On the morning of March 23 (Thursday), more than 60 people from the mayor of Bangkok, Thailand, visited Jinan to investigate the construction of urban drainage pipe network system, visited the construction of Jinan municipal drainage pipe network system and underground integrated pipeline gallery, and listened to the special introduction of Jinan urban drainage pipe network system construction by the staff of Jinan Municipal Design and Research Group. They also exchanged views on issues of concern.

At the meeting, Wang Shaohui, director of the Water Environment Institute of Jinan Municipal Engineering Design and Research Group, introduced the construction of the municipal drainage pipe network system in Jinan City. Bangkok City inspection personnel on the drainage pipe network system construction, river construction management and other issues were questioned on the spot. The participants gave high praise to the construction of the drainage pipe network in Jinan City. Afterwards, the delegation went to the demonstration section of the underground comprehensive management corridor of Second Ring West Road, Jinan City, visited the construction of the corridor and listened to the introduction of the underground comprehensive management corridor of Jinan City by Xiu Chunhai, Deputy director of Jinan Municipal Public Utilities Bureau. The inspectors fully affirmed the high standard construction of the comprehensive management corridor in Jinan City and the management and maintenance of the corridor.

The inspection was organized by the Municipal Foreign Affairs Office. Li Rong, inspector of the Provincial Foreign Affairs Office, Liu Yanqiu, deputy director of the Municipal Foreign Affairs Office and other leaders accompanied the Bangkok delegation throughout the whole trip. This inspection and exchange further deepened the friendship between the two cities, promoted the construction of the municipal drainage network system of the two cities, and laid a solid foundation for further cooperation between the two cities in the future.
